Welcome to RRP Enterprises. By booking a consignment with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions governing the transportation of goods. Please read these carefully before engaging our services.
1. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited for transport. Consignors found shipping these items will be held fully liable for any legal, financial, or operational consequences:
- Explosives, firearms, or ammunition of any kind.
- Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances.
- Highly flammable liquids (without prior written hazardous cargo approval from RRP Enterprises).
- Stolen goods, contraband, or any item whose transport is unlawful under Indian law.
2. Liability & Insurance
Owner's Risk (OR): Unless specifically insured by RRP Enterprises under a separate written agreement, all goods are transported at "Owner's Risk." We strongly recommend all clients obtain their own marine or transit insurance for consignments of significant value.
RRP Enterprises shall not be held liable for loss or damage arising from:
- Natural calamities (Act of God) such as floods, earthquakes, cyclones, or landslides.
- Seizure or detention by government authorities due to improper, incomplete, or expired documentation provided by the consignor.
- Internal damage to goods where the outer packaging is found intact upon delivery.
- Inherent vice or natural deterioration of perishable goods during transit.
3. Documentation
The consignor is solely responsible for providing valid and current E-Way Bills, Tax Invoices, and Delivery Challans prior to dispatch. Any detention of vehicles at checkposts due to expired, incorrect, or missing documentation will result in demurrage charges payable by the consignor at the prevailing applicable rate.
4. Payment Terms
Freight charges shall be payable as per the agreed billing mode: To Pay (TBB), Paid, or To Be Billed (TBB). Invoices are due within the agreed credit period. Late payments beyond the due date will attract interest at 18% per annum, compounded monthly. RRP Enterprises reserves its general lien over all goods in transit or warehoused for any unpaid freight or ancillary charges.
5. Claims & Disputes
Any claims for loss, damage, or short delivery must be lodged in writing within 7 days of the delivery date. Claims submitted after this period will not be entertained. RRP Enterprises will investigate all valid claims and communicate findings within 21 working days.
6. Force Majeure
RRP Enterprises shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, government actions, road blockades, natural disasters, or fuel shortages.
7. Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
